Hammerfriar 

Since its founding in 2004, Hammerfriar Gallery has been dedicated to showcasing the work of local conceptual artists. We use our intimate gallery to celebrate visual art in its many varied forms, from paintings to lithographs, tapestries to ceramics, both indoor and outdoor sculpture. We also host workshops, artist talks and experiential events.

Hammerfriar Frameshop has the largest selection of artisan and closed-corner frame selections in the North Bay. We offer custom framing to fit any budget, and utilize the highest grade of museum conservation methods and materials.

Hammerfriar’s collection of over 500 Vintage Posters are exhibited at monthly showings off-site. Once ephemeral street advertisements, original Vintage Posters are now sought after for their historical, cultural and artistic value.
